A record of the comments I make on Candy Brauer's KeepingtheHome.com Blog - just in case!
"There are not over a 100 people in the U.S. that hate the Catholic Church, there are millions however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church which is, of course, quite a different thing." Fulton Sheen
Elena, My comments probably won't be well liked but I feel the need to respond. I thoroughly agree with your objections to Candy's blog and I too am Catholic. It seems to me that you are beginning to be comsumed with this issue. I believe in standing up for what you believe in, but it is taking over your blog to the point that you created another blog to refute what she is saying. I think you are wasting a lot of time and energy trying to change someone who is not willing to make changes. Maybe this is something that needs turned over to God and let him deal with this. I too used to read Candy's blog daily and became aggitated by what I read but I realized that I was creating my own anger by reading it. Scripture tells us not to be angry, that it can destroy our souls and our commandments tell us to "love thy neighbor." I truly understand what you are trying to do but it worries me what this is doing to you as a person. I had to pray to God that he would help me to not read Candy's blog so I could release the anger that I was feeling. From the outside it is only looking like a war that will never be won. We have to trust that God will lead us in our faith and help us to move on in our spiritual lives. I pray for Candy rather than becoming angry at her now and I pray that God can help you to let go of this "mission" that you are on. I enjoyed your posts before the Candy comments and I pray that it can return to the previous tone.

I see Candy has posted a link to Two Babylons. I guess she's getting a lot of Catholic comments that she isn't putting up.
Hello Kelly,
Yes, I saw that. And in response I put some books of my own in the side bar!
Thanks for commenting!
I think thats a great idea Elena!

But see, I'm not angry. Anger has nothing to do with it, so rest easy Mom on 4 Wheels and thanks for your concern
