We're back

unfortunately.

Despite personally warning Candy that I would bring this site back up, she posted her anti-Catholic dribble again.

She also has switched her comments to Halo scanning (which is a much better commenting system in my opinion anyway) but she will probably ban me completely now. Which is fine. I will try to notify her that I will save the effort and just post here directly.

Anyway - I posted some links explaining the mitre and the pope's cross.

Here are some liks for Christian symbols if anyone is interested.

Thank you for continuing to post! I'm sure a lot of women will believe anything she says; even if it's all wrong! She is misleading people and they do not know any better. So sad. It's the blind leading the blind!

I saw her post early this morning & checked in here shortly thereafter. Too funny about the eye makeup in your next post! So true!

It all boils down to this: Candy is so lost in her own world. She knows it & the harder she tries to convince everyone that she is the perfect wife & mother living in the perfect world, the more she reveals how miserable she really is. For so long, I'd read her blog & Mountain Mama's blog and think that I was not a good wife & mom because I wasn't accomplishing the to-do lists that they post. News flash: even being a stay-at-home wife & mom, there's NO WAY Candy gets all that she posts done. Not unless she locks her kids up all day. Sorry, I don't buy it!

Thanks for doing this, Elena. I really tried to be optimistic about the new tone of ther blog, but I guess that I was wrong.

Hello Elena: just to let you know that your link to "Cybercatholics" is really to one of the subpages of my blog, Vivificat!, part of which is graciously hosted at Cybercatholics.

Keep up the good fight!

I'm glad I know now that all those protestants with fish magnets on their cars are really worshiping the fish god. I never knew!

Oh Kelly!! You made me laugh so hard. That was great! :)

I asked Candy for her advice about banning my son from handling pine cones and whether she agreed with my stance of banning whole fish being served in the house. But she banned me too :o( I was really counting on her advice and support at this pivotal moment in my life as I realise that the sun, fish heads, pine cones and "bent crosses" are satanic.

Kelly, LOL!

I don't get it...why does she feel the need to lie in order to dispute what the Catholic church teaches? Why not just dispute the things she disagrees with, using the truth of the Bible alone?

I am a protestant and I have my own disagreements with certain things in the Catholic church, but I would never be dumb enough to come up with the stuff Candy says and then say that's proof that all Catholics are worshiping satan! Good grief, that's just unbelievable.

I believe that most Catholics are my sisters and brothers in Christ, and this is my belief based on the Bible's teachings.

Has anyone ever posted this scripture to Candy, to see what she thinks about it?

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I believe that Catholic or protestant...if you believe that Jesus came down from Heaven in the form of a man, rose three days after being crucified on the cross, and have accepted him as your Savior, you are my brother or sister in Christ.

What she is teaching is not Biblical or even halfway accurate. I wonder why people fall for her brainwashing? Has she even ever met a real catholic before? I know several of them and they all have faith in Jesus Christ as their saviour.

Jesus said, "He who is not against us is for us."

What does she think about that?

How do you find out that you're banned? I sent a comment and it doesn't appear that she approved it. Would I find out I'm banned the next time I try to post?

Elena, I showed my friend Mary the post, and she commented and she was immediately deleted. Here is what she had posted, so that at least some people will be able to read her counter argument:

Actually, there was no bible when Peter was pope, so it would have been hard to put him in there.

I suggest you read up a little on Catholicism from the horses mouth before you blast it in public.

It's easier to cut and paste lunatics that hate the church than it is to actually research the Church and what she is about...but maybe all you're interested in is the easy way?

Oops, sorry to post so many times, but it may not have been deleted...it may just be awaiting moderation.

Not a surprise really. Isn't it ironic that one of her favorite scriptures to quote is Matthew 7:20, "By their fruits shall you know them"?
