This is off topic but, I just wanted to let you all know that John Salza is on Johnette Benkovic's show, The Abundant Life, on EWTN tonight. He's talking about the papacy. I think it will be run again this week on Wednesday at 2pm eastern but, I'm not positive. It is an excellent conversation. I wish Candy could here it. Watch it if you have the chance.
oh, thank you for letting us know, I am just checking this now (Tuesday) but I see that it will run again on Wednesday.. yeah!!! I will be sure to record it, I just love Johnette Benkovic's show.. she is just such a wonderful lady!
Yeah, record it if you can. It was a very good show. I can watch it over because I recorded it.
I can't imagine someone hearing John Salza talk about this subject and not understand and believe what the papacy is all about and that it's really real, as in Jesus instituted it!
I meant to say I wish Candy could "hear" it, not "here" it. Oops. Actually, I wish everyone could hear it.
Don't you hate it when you make a grammatical or spelling error and notice it *after* you posted? I do that all the time!
I just love Johnette Benkovic. She has been through so much and has such strong faith. I went to a women's conference at which she was the keynote speaker 2 years ago, and even had the privilege of meeting her!
I didn't get a chance to see this show last night, but maybe I can catch it Wednesday. EWTN.com archives some of their shows so I may check that out too.
I wondered if mortal sin was in reference to the scripture in hebrews.Thank you so much for answering all my questions. In learning about your faith, I find that my faith deepens and grows.
Am I wrong to believe that Catholics and protestants have more in common than not? Or is that a wrong assumption on my part? I guess varies among individuals, but overall, aren't we ALL Christians?
Jennifer, I have certainly always felt that we had a lot in common, you simply have to look and it is very clear and I really appreciate when people can agree on this, my marriage would not have worked for 15 years if my husband and I would not have been able to agree that we have more in common than not as he was a member of the LCMS (he just began R.C.I.A. classes in Sept.) Blessings!
