A Prayer request
Blondie, a long-time friend of this blog, is asking for prayers for some real life friends. Their little boy fell into a swimming pool and is now on life support. Please keep this little one and his family in prayer.

UPDATE on Michael - please keep those prayers going up!
Today Michael has been opening his eyes and responding to his mother's voice. In fact, he had to be sedated and she was told to stop talking to him to keep him calm in an effort to keep the brain swelling at bay, but he hears! There are different stages of coma, and he has progressed from stage one to stage two.
The Patron Saints of drowning victims are:
St. Adjutor
St. Florian
St. Radegunde
St. Romanus of Condat
I have also been praying to St. Michael the Archangel (whom I assume is Michael's namesake), St. Therese, St. Jude, and of course, Our Blessed Mother.
