I did find this on the CIAL comment section:
Dearest brothers and sisters in Christ...
Remember a few months ago, when I said that God was moving my family and I on to the next stage in His plan for us? And, do you remember that I said we have been working on an important project? It has all come to fruition.
We are homesteading!!! :-) I will not mention the state or country we now reside in. Our new house is four bedroom, and has two full bathrooms. It was quite the move to get out here, but we did it. Now you know why I had to cut my internet time down to just the blog and some research time. I also relied heavily on Blogger's auto-blog function, via their "scheduled blogging" feature.
We now have land for growing some food, and hope to be "breaking ground" any day now. We are living our dream, and praising the Lord for it each day.
This also means that it's time for the Keeping The Home blog to come to an end. Farewell to my friends.

God bless you, and goodbye.
My first thought, if this is true, is "good!" How many times can we defend the same doctrines over and over again when the woman wouldn't even attempt to engage us, or listen to a thing we said. Also frankly, I was getting tired of the same old stuff over there served up regularly.
So I guess for now we will keep an eye on it and see if perhaps either the regular blogger notice shows up, OR if it comes back. We'll see.

What a great Lenten present that would be!!!
Yes it would be. Very surprising though. I thought she clearly wrote last spring on her blog, to me that she was not going to "back down."
or at least she had Tom Petty sing it.
It's all very strange but at least all her anti-Catholic vitriol is gone.
Curiously, what does she mean by 'homesteading'? I'm pretty new to this group, so I do not quite catch the meaning.
"Homesteading" is the idea of building your own home on your own land in the middle of nowhere. The ultimate goal is to be as self-sufficient as possible and live off "the grid". Growing your own food. Making your own clothes. Not being connected to electric, phone, water, sewer lines. Using alternate forms of energy to power electrical devices or do without. Think "Little House on the Prairie".
Wow, I've been dealing with a baby who hasn't stopped crying all morning while juggling gym class and homeschool. Apparently, I missed the event of the year!
I admit that I'm hesitant to believe her story. We know that their financial situation was precarious, and with the economy being what it is, I am more inclined to believe that she is losing internet access due to financial cutbacks.
They seem to have been really embraced by their new church, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone generously offered a rental home or something similar for them free of cost, especially if they were in danger of losing their trailer. I have known things like that to happen. People can be very generous, especially when there are children involved.
I don't see why she would go to the trouble of writing her little booklet to pass out at her church if they were going to move soon.
But, I certainly wish Candy no ill, and I hope for their family's sake that every word of it is true. A four bedroom home would be so much more suited to their family, and if they are living off the land, then they aren't spreading The Truth About Catholicism.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
I told my dh and he said they're probably running away from creditors...........
She has that little note up on her blog site, although the blog is now just white with that all the "pretties" gone...mmmm...I wonder what is really going on.
Interesting, to say the least. So what will become of this place? As much as I wish this was true, there are still other 'Candy's' out there who are convincing others of a skewed 'truth'.
Sorry to say it Dr. Mikey Mike, but Elena and I are both homeschooling moms with ten children between us. I'm not sure we're going to be up to taking on all the anti-Catholicism on the internet.
But I'm sure Candy will be back. Just give her some time.
Haha! Point taken. :)
See, she hasn't exactly taken the blog down. She took off the template and all of the other information (although that could be saved in an archive). If she had deleted the blog completely, Blogger would say that "This blog does not exist" or something to that effect.
So she has left the door open to a return.
Even if she had taken it down completely, it's fairly easy to keep a backup copy.
She's also still visiting her Meez daily.
I just don't get the meez thing.
Hi! New to your site! LOVE IT! nyways...I've always checked in to Candy's site to see what kind of hoo-ha she spewed for the day. I went to keeping the home today and it seems like someone is trying to start the blog up again! I didn't really think she'd go away...she has too much rancor to blab.
