This is intense?

Apparently Candy had enough time to throw a little video together with the usual stuff in it. The comments that managed to get through are in awe and amazement.  The folks at STC aren't as impressed.  We've talked about most of her issues including the bishop's had, KJV, and Mary in the past and I've installed a new Google Search Widget on the blog to make those easier to find (because we're not afraid to be open about our past postings here!)

Incidentally, I came across Barbara Curtis's

Amazon store here and she gives some very sage advice:

I've found that most who judge Catholics as "less than" or "not at all" Christians are misinformed.

My suggestion if this applies to you is to stop reading Evangelical/Protestant attacks on Catholicism and go to the source material itself before you judge.

What about the rest?

I've probably recommended before ... but will say again as I didn't see it in Barbara's otherwise very complete list ... Benedict's book The Spirit of the Liturgy because so many attacks - uh, I mean "critiques" - come with verses taken from the Letter to the Hebrews, and Benedict shows how Catholic worship conforms to this sacred Scripture, too.

I made a comment on her blog about this lady night but she's not let it through so far. This seems particularly absurd and paranoid on her part and betrays a real lack of knowledge about the history of Christianity. She should stick to making pizza--that last one didn't look bad.
