"I suspect this will help her see the sheer amounts of comments she has been sending me, and they should hopefully dwindle down to just a few." (See this post where Candy says, "I'm nearing *2000 visits to this website per day now, so to all my new visitors - Welcome! :-D"
Just one more thought. I am impressed that through your "2000" visits a day, you are still able to go through and pick mine out of the crowd! Truly impressive!
* I highly doubt it.

Just a question. Why can't you two just ignore each other? Its obvious that you're never going to agree or get along. If she posts something about you, just ignore it. Commenting on it just eggs it on.
You both claim Christianity, but this blog's entire purpose is to belittle and make fun. How will you justify this to Christ if your salvation is based partly on works???

Not true Nickie! The entire purpose of this blog is documentation! I spend a considerate amount of time and energy writing my comments and if Candy won't post them I'd still like to have a record of them.
In addition, my comments on Candy's blog aren't nearly as numerous as shewould like everyone to believe. (She made an attempt to back peddle on that one today.) I just want to have the documentation. Thanks for commenting.
Hi Natalie,
There is actually a message that I am trying to convey. I am patient enough to see how it plays out in terms of months or years if necessary.
If a blogger posts something, it is entirely fair game for comments. It's not spam, and it's not stalking. Unless you have a private, password, by invitation only site, it is totally open to comment. Thanks for commenting Natalie.
True and I see your point. But, it just seems to me that its causing bitterness and so much strife. You're right, you're completely free to comment, but I guess when I'm faced with a situation like this and I know that the person will never see my point of view, I just let it go. More for my sake.
Look, I'm not trying to jump in here and make you angry at me. I'm just making an observation. If you don't agree, just ignore me.
I'll understand.
And, also, just to let you know, I sent her the same first message that I sent you.
I don't expect her to publish it. But, that's her right. Its her blog.
No problem Natalie. Confrontation isn't everyone's cup of tea, but in this case, I feel rather compelled to be out there a bit. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Absolutely Natalie, it is her right.
However, I think when a commenter puts out comments (as opposed to disabling comments) they are in a sense putting out a welcoming mat. I think there is some responsibility there to behave in a gracious manner.
Did you know the first time I commented on Candy's she didn't e-mail, or send an explanation of why she wasn't allowing or anything? I thought I had just not sent the comment correctly!
Secondly, I think if you post controvertial stuff it's a bit cowardly not to take the heat for it. If you have confidence and you can make your points decisively you should welcome a challenge.
Perhaps that's why she doesn't allow opposing comments then?
Thanks for commenting Natalie.
Just remember, that's all your own opinion, your personality, and your own way of thinking. She's different.
She didn't do what you expected, and you got upset. You're letting yourself get upset over a difference of opinion and a difference of personality.
Remember, you can't change people or control them. You can only control yourself.
She's different.
A point of total agreement.
She didn't do what you expected, and you got upset.
I think most people expect that if a blog has a comment section - they are open to comments!
You're letting yourself get upset over a difference of opinion and a difference of personality.
I'm actually not upset at all. But I'm not dropping it either.
Remember, you can't change people or control them. You can only control yourself.
Exactly! And because I can't control whether or not Candy posts my comments, I can control posting them here!
Really, it's not as much or as bad ad Candy has lead everyone to believe.
