A record of the comments I make on Candy Brauer's KeepingtheHome.com Blog - just in case!
"There are not over a 100 people in the U.S. that hate the Catholic Church, there are millions however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church which is, of course, quite a different thing." Fulton Sheen
Ms Catholic basher is at it again. After first posting that she was too busy to post today (oxymoron?) she removed that post and replaced it with a lengthy diatribe that supposedly supports her bigotry. And not surprisingly her followers are patting her on the back; those that she allows to comment, anyway.
Oh, my gosh, this woman is the most IGNORANT thing I have ever seen in my life... but she won't let you comment if you are not on her side and that is where the ignorance lies.. she knows that she can't back up her words so better not let anyone tell the truth.. and that is where you get her each time.. she tells one side and one side alone... Candy.. you are a LIAR and you know it.. may God have Mercy on you for spreading such lies about his church... disgust!!!
Yes, she allowed someone to comment against her and she said she was (simply republishing this again) oh, how convenient!! this woman has got to be the most sickest person I have ever seen, I hope someone on this board will address these lies and show here where she is wrong and then she can see for herself, her poor readers are actually duped into her lies... wow, to have so much time to spread such hate!!
Addressing her lies appears to be futile. She's been told time and time again that Catholic's do not worship Mary, yet she refuses to let that idea go. Why? Only she knows. She won't allow refuting arguments; the one she did allow was only so she could do a bit of ranting about that person's misguidance, or blindness or whatever she perceives. It gave her followers something else to say rather than "good job candy" or whatever they continually feed her.
Of all the times on end that she has been refuted, with logic, proof, evidence and everything else, she doesn't allow the comments because it makes her look "good" to her followers to only have pats on the back. If her followers don't read facts that contradict her bigotry then they won't learn anything and will continue to believe in her.
Very, very dangerous kinds of people have done the same thing throughout time. True cults..those that followed the comet, those that drank poison kool-aid, those that believed David Koresh was God himself...and those are just the ones that make mainstream news.
That, from the very beginning, is always what has scared me about her. Do I believe she has that power? No. But, do I believe she can be dangerous? Yes.
I tried to post in Candy's Comment section - I asked a sincere question - Very politely, I might add. It was never posted and now I cannot even read any of the comments.
I would recommend visiting each of her "guests" homepage and giving them the link to this page and just let them know when they are ready to really learn the truth, we are more than happy to have discussions with them where we can post and comment and not play Candy's little games!
kritterc, good luck posting, I tried as well, she will never post what you say.. it would clearly prove her wrong.. that is what is so neat, we are clearly right and she knows it.. she is soooooo scared.. the truth is looking her in the eyes and she is terrified.. she really is a sad, sad woman, I feel sorry for her, I really do.
Well what do you know - My comment was posted. I just asked her if she actually read the complete section dealing with the Ten Commandments in the "Catechism of the Catholic Church." I have gotten no answer, but she did print my comment. I stand corrected.
From another comment: "Now we know what you were "so busy" with earlier that you wouldn't post for a day. Must be rough to have so much time on your hands to continually bash an entire group of people who don't believe as you do. Wonder what those kids of yours did in all the time it took you to put this little snippet of hatred together."
And Candy's response: "Liatris, regular readers of this blog will recognize much of this post, since It's just a reprint of my 'vatican vs. God' article that I originally wrote last year.
That's all I did was update and reprint it - a matter of minutes.
As for my busy day, I was supposed to have a guest, but the plans fell through.
As for my "snippet of hate," there is nothing hateful in my article. It is pure fact, plain and simple. However, many would consider your comment to me to be quite hateful.
I've found that many people who have problems with pride will turn to rude, unhelpful responses when they can't disprove any points given them.
Your anger and hate towards me isn't going to help you get into heaven. Only Jesus can get you in.
Drop the scales from your eyes, and embrace the truth of God's love for you."
I think it was me who posted about the Ten Commandments on Candy's blog last summer (2006). A lot of Candy's followers jumped down my throat and told me I needed to read the KJV for the "true" Ten Commandments. I wish I'd saved my post... I also wrote something about the intersession of the saints which was never posted. That's when I bowed out. Agh!

Well, I did save the post I wrote about the saints (that was never published), but I can't find the one about the Ten Commandments. Darn!
